These photographs were taken from the aircraft when I was flying over turkey on my way to New Delhi. Note the clay colored tops of the mountain. This is a very unique as these are the areas where the snow forms during winters and when the snow melts these areas look the way they are looking.

RECENTLY I HAD BEEN TO GANGOTRI FROM UTTAR KASHI.THESE AREA IS IN THE UTTARKHAND STATE OF INDIA AND MOSTLY COVERS THE NORTH WESTERN HIMALAYAS.THESE PHOTOGRAPHS BRINGS ABOUT THE BEAUTY OF THE PLACE AND THEY SPEAK VOLUMES ABOUT THE STUPENDOUS SERENITY OF THE HIMALAYAS. SURELY THIS IS THE ABODE OF GOD.THE AVERAGE ALTITUDE OF THE PLACE IS 11000 FEET AND IT GOES UPTO 13500 FEET.
